Once again I've been away from home (looking after my nan) and so I missed last Friday's Popstar to Operastar. I'm sure you've all seen it by now but here's the link to Danny's performance anyway - click.

Poor Mr Jones was in the bottom two last week and so it's more important than ever that we make sure he's not in that position this coming Friday. If every fan votes at least once then I'm sure he'll sail through.

I've had a hectic week or so due to myself being out of sorts, having to look after my Nan who's injured her back, our boiler at home breaking and job-related issues. Therefore I haven't been able to update here with all the latest Popstar to Operastar information. For now I'll link you to what I can, and then hopefully things will be back to normal.

Those signed up to McFly's mailing list should have received an email with lots of information regarding Danny's participation in Popstar to Operastar. In case you haven't got it, here's what it says:

DANNY TO WIN!!

This Friday night at 9pm marks the beginning of a sensational new singing show on ITV1. Popstar to Opera Star will see 8 popstars battle it out in the toughest contest enroute to operatic success. Not only will the contestants be singing in a completely different style, but often in a different language too. The show will make X Factor look like a walk in the park!

Danny will need your support every step of the way. It sounds unbelievable but it would appear our Danny is to take part in a new TV show where he will compete against other celebrities in the art of opera singing. It'll start on ITV in a couple of weeks and you can be sure that there'll be plenty of news about it on this site.

... I had problems with converting the videos of last night's Family Fortunes. The first one worked fine but the second decided to break at 82%. This means that I won't be able to give you an upload until after the repeat, and even then I still might have the same problem. I'll give it a go though. In the mean time you can watch it courtesy of another source here.

Hurrah! Sunday 4th October is when you can see the Jones family battling it out to win money for charity (coincidentally it's also my mum's 50th birthday).

So it would appear that McFly aren't being shown on any of the TV coverage of V Festival. Which is just rude. I'm sure a small clip wouldn't have hurt the Channel 4 peeps. As it is, the only thing I can bring you is this - a very short clip of the end of 5 Colours.
